Acme Packing Company is off and chugging down the tracks with our new t-shirts for the 2015 season, which have been inspired by the start to the Green Bay Packers' season. Earlier today, we announced our first shirt design, the "Spoiler" shirt, which is a result of the Packers' sometimes rocky but undefeated start.
The second design we have come up with is a nod to the breakout performances in the preseason and in the week six game against San Diego by a certain second-year wide receiver. After some impressive games on special teams to start the season, Jeff Janis earned significant playing time for the first time last week and responded with a pair of big plays - receptions for 46 and 33 yards.
In light of this performance, we present to you the "Hype Train" shirt, which is available in both green and gold colors:
Due to printing costs, the green shirt with the yellow design has a base price of $22.99, but the gold version is just $17.99.
As with the "Spoiler" shirt, APC will donate every cent that we receive from the sale of these shirts to Midwest Athletes Against Childhood Cancer. The MACC Fund, which is based in Milwaukee, is one of the highest-rated cancer charities in the country by the independent charity watchdog Charity Navigator. It is also a favorite charity of Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers, among many other athletes in the Midwest.
Finally, if you're not interested in a shirt but are interested in donating to the MACC Fund on your own, click here for more details on how to do so.
