Rodgers looks to tie Brett Favre by winning his third NFL MVP award this year. He’s always the MVP in our books, though, so let’s celebrate his season and career.

Aaron Rodgers is the best quarterback in football.

Again.

After a few “down” years by his standards, Rodgers has vaulted back up to the top of the NFL, leading the league in a vast number of passing categories. He leads in DVOA, QBR, passing touchdowns, passer rating, interception and touchdown rates, completion percentage, and adjusted yards per attempt.

All of that has Rodgers poised to win his third NFL MVP award, as he is the odds-on favorite as the regular season comes to a close. Let’s face it — throwing three or more touchdowns in six of your team’s last seven games is a great way to finish off a season, especially when your team ends on a six-game winning streak and earns your conference’s number one seed.
