As the week flips over to Wednesday, the Green Bay Packers will take the field for their second and final open practice of this week at 11:45 AM Central today. The team is likely making its final preparations for its second preseason game, which will kick off at 3 PM Central on Saturday, August 16th in St. Louis against the Rams.
In today's practice, all eyes will be on wide receiver Jordy Nelson, who returned to practice yesterday from his hamstring injury but was very limited in his snap count. If he resumes participating in more snaps, that will be a good sign for his availability on Saturday.
Fellow wideout Davante Adams remained out on Tuesday, though head coach Mike McCarthy said that Adams' injury was not serious. His participation will also be closely monitored.
As for the other receivers who will be taking the field, drops will likely be a big focus after several receivers were dropping passes on Tuesday.
Join us here for full updates from today's practice as we see the events of the day through the eyes of Packers media representatives.
