Packers Training Camp Practice: Updates and Live Thread for August 25, 2014

The Packers practice in front of the public for the first time since Raji and Tretter's injuries today.

It's been a pretty rough weekend for the Green Bay Packers, losing two starters to injury. Nose tackle B.J. Raji is out for the year with a torn biceps muscle, while center JC Tretter will miss an estimated 5-6 weeks due to a knee injury.

On Monday at Ray Nitschke Field, Packers fans will get their first public look at how the team plans to replace those players, as the team takes the field for the penultimate open practice of its 2014 preseason. After today, only Wednesday's practice remains before Thursday's final preseason game and the team's cut-down to 53 players on Saturday.

In the meantime, this is the last chance for several players on the bubble to make their case for avoiding the cut down to 75 players, which must happen by Tuesday. With Raji likely going on Injured Reserve along with Jared Abbrederis and Don Barclay, the team would need to make three additional moves to get down from an 81-man active roster to 75.

As for today, follow along with practice below and join us in the comments. We'll have our practice notebook and comments from Mike McCarthy later on this afternoon.
