As the Green Bay Packers prepare for their preseason opener against the Tennessee Titans on Saturday, the team will take the field for another open practice session this morning at 11:45 AM Central. With yesterday's session marred by the injury to Don Barclay, we will of course have our fingers crossed that the team does not suffer any further injuries today and into the future.
After an off day on Thursday, Friday's practice will be closed to the public since the team will be installing a gameplan for Saturday's game. In fact, after today's practice, the next time the Packers will be practicing publicly will be on Tuesday, August 13th.
Yesterday, the team spent extensive time working on special teams drills in preparation for Saturday, and they very well may do the same today. Keep an eye on which players are lining up with the top units, as they will likely have a leg up on roster spots if they are contributing on offense or defense as well.
