Packers vs. Colts: Preliminary Injury Report Announced

The preliminary injury reports were announced today for Sunday's Packers-Colts game. The Packers are finally a fairly healthy team; the Colts have not been so lucky.

Brian Spurlock-US PRESSWIRE - Presswire

Courtesy of ESPN Wisconsin and the teams themselves, the injury reports for the Packers and Colts have been released this afternoon. There are few surprises on the Packers' report:

OUT
WR Greg Jennings (groin), S Sean Richardson (hamstring)

QUESTIONABLE
CB Davon House (shoulder)

PROBABLE
DT Ryan Pickett (shoulder), S M.D. Jennings (neck)

We have known Jennings will be out for a few days now, and Richardson hasn't practiced in quite a while. House seems like he's ready to go, but the team seems wise to hold him back, especially as Sam Shields and Casey Hayward have been playing well. Pickett and Jennings should both play on Sunday.

The Colts, however, are in much more dire straits when it comes to injuries. Here's their report:

OUT
ILB Pat Angerer (foot), CB Vontae Davis (ankle), CB Justin King (groin), G Seth Olsen (knee), G Joe Reitz (knee)

QUESTIONABLE
TE Coby Fleener (head), RB Mewelde Moore (ankle), C Samson Satele (knee), OLB Dwight Freeney (ankle)

PROBABLE
OLB Robert Mathis (ankle)

This list has eight starters on it, with the only other players (King and Moore) as the primary backups at their positions. With both Davis and King out, Cassius Vaughn looks to get the start at cornerback, and former Packer Josh Gordy will likely see substantial playing time as well. Furthermore, the interior of the Colts' offensive line seems to be in shambles, which could bode well for B.J. Raji and company distrupting the Colts' backfield.
