Packers Draft Picks: Green Bay selects Miami (OH) cornerback Quinten Rollins

With the No. 62 overall pick, the Green Bay Packers select Miami (OH) cornerback Quinten Rollins

Brian Spurlock-USA TODAY Sports

The Green Bay Packers add another uber-athlete to their secondary in Miami (OH) cornerback Quinten Rollins with the 62nd overall pick in the 2015 NFL Draft.

Height: 5'11
Weight:195
2014 stats: 72 tackles, 52 solo, seven interceptions (one for pick-six)

Strengths: Rollins is a quick-twitch athlete with impressive foot quickness. He has the fluidity and acceleration to change direction quickly and catch up with receivers who get the initial step on him. He isn't afraid of contact and is a physical tackler.

Weaknesses: Rollins has only one year of experience at the position and is an extremely raw prospect. He needs a lot of work on his technique and body positioning. Sometimes gets crossed up on double moves and doesn't always plays with good leverage in press coverage.

Overview: Rollins has all the physical tools to be an excellent cover corner at the next level but he lacks the experience and technique to a Week 1 starter. He will likely have to be a special teams contributor who works within the dime and nickle packages before he can be reliable on as a start. If he can continue to work on his craft and gets an opportunity to learn the position on the fly, he could be a steal.
