The Packers select Stanford wide receiver Ty Montgomery with the No. 94 pick in the 2015 NFL Draft.
Height: 5'11
Weight:221 pounds
Strengths: Montgomery is extremely athletic with a strong frame and long arms. His acceleration his second-to-none at his position and could be an immediate impact player as a return man. He shows flashes of being a deep-play threat as a wide receiver and he blocks well on the outside.
Weaknesses: Montgomery doesn't have a lot of routes in repertoire and often relies on his straight-line speed to get open. He sometimes allows passes to hit his pads and doesn't consistently go up and grab the ball at it's highest point (as shown by his 16 drops in college).
Overview: Montgomery saw a significant decline in production in his senior campaign at Stanford after recording 2,208 all-purpose yards and 10 touchdowns as a junior. He is hardly a polished route runner, but his athleticism and acceleration make him a promising prospect in the right system.
