Several underclassmen have decided to leave early for the draft, and we look at which players will be off the Packers’ radar.

Well, for the thirteen time world champion Green Bay Packers, the Playoffs are just beginning, and the Draft couldn’t be farther away (can’t wait to pick 32nd).

However, for 20 lowly teams (looking at you, Vikings and Bears), it is officially #DraftSZN, and the past few days have been fast and furious with athletes choosing to forego their senior seasons of college football to enter the 2017 NFL Draft. Here’s a list of several notable athletes to do so, and whether they are likely to be on the radar for the Packers. Thus far 53 athletes have entered the draft early, including 14 running backs.

*It should be noted that Alabama hasn’t had anyone declare yet, they play in the National Championship game on Monday, January 9th. Clemson players declared earlier this season.

Out of Reach OR QBs (Will likely go top 10-20 easily OR not a position of need)

Myles Garrett, DE, Texas A&M - Garrett will go #1, or the lowest Top 5
DeShaun Watson, QB, Clemson - that Aaron Rodgers fellow is still around
DeShone Kizer, QB, Notre Dame - See above
Patrick Mahomes, QB, Texas Tech - Same
Brad Kaaya, QB, Miami (FL) - Also
Leonard Fournette, RB, LSU
Dalvin Cook, RB, Florida State
Mike Williams, WR, Clemson

Notable Others (These are more realistic options)

Budda Baker, DB, Washington
Derek Barnett, EDGE, Tennessee
Gareon Conley, CB, Ohio State
Isaiah Ford, WR, Virginia Tech
D’Onta Foreman, RB, Texas
Carlos Henderson, WR, Louisiana Tech
Bucky Hodges, WR/TE, Virginia Tech
Malik Hooker, S, Ohio State
Sidney Jones, CB, Washington
Alvin Kamara, RB, Tennessee
Josh Malone, WR, Tennessee
Christian McCaffrey, RB, Stanford
Malik McDowell, DL, Michigan State
Raekwon McMillan, ILB, Ohio State
Jeremy McNichols, RB, Boise State
David Njoku, TE, Miami (FL)
Samaje Perine, RB, Oklahoma
Elijah Qualls, DL, Washington
John Ross, WR, Washington
Ricky Seals-Jones, WR, Texas A&M
Damore’ea Stringfellow, WR, Ole Miss
T.J. Watt, EDGE, Wisconsin
Quincy Wilson, CB, Florida
Joseph Yearby, RB, Miami (FL)

This list is sure to grow, and the next four-five months are a whirlwind of hot takery and overreaction to something that’s ultimately a flat circle and doesn’t change. Welcome to the beginning of Draft SZN everyone, even if the Packers are hopefully going to make us wait a month to embrace it.
