We are now up to 21 reports of official pre-draft visits for the Green Bay Packers. The latest report comes from Greg Auman of the Tampa Bay Times, who is following a local Florida prospect. Cornerback D.J. Killings played at the University of Central Florida, and Auman reports that he had a top-30 visit with the Packers.
Killings narrowly missed our cutoffs when considering possible undrafted free agent corners who might fit the Packers, as he is listed at 5 feet, 10-1/2 inches tall. However, his Pro Day reports indicate that he ran a 4.48-second forty, had a 37.5” vertical, and ran the 3-cone drill in under seven seconds (6.97 to be exact).
As a senior, Killings recorded 42 total tackles, three for loss, one sack, and three interceptions. Two of those picks and the sack came against the Houston Cougars in October, a game in which UCF narrowly missed out on an upset. He finished his career with a total of five interceptions.
Perhaps surprisingly, Killings is the only one of the 21 reported Packers visitors to be a defensive back. Click here for the full list.
