It’s finally here. At 7:00 PM Central time tonight, the 2019 NFL Draft will finally get underway, beginning the three-day event that will last through Saturday evening. Of course, an event like this wouldn’t be complete without some complications, and Mother Nature appears determined to make her mark on this year’s event.
As far as the Green Bay Packers are concerned, there are options galore with the team’s two first-round picks tonight. Mock drafts and predictions are all over the board this morning, as beat writers, analysts, and others are unable to come to a consensus. In fact, there’s not nearly a consensus on what position the team will draft aside from maybe that they’ll grab an offensive lineman sometime tonight — but even that is in question.
While general manager Brian Gutekunst and the personnel department are hard at work finalizing their draft board and getting ready for tonight, the coaching staff and players have been working on the field this week. A voluntary minicamp is taking place in the lead-up to the draft, and the team has been feeling a different vibe in practice than in years past.

With the Draft going on this weekend, it's easy to forget that the Packers are actually practicing this week, holding a voluntary minicamp as a result of hiring a new coach in Matt LaFleur. The team reportedly has 100 percent attendance for this week's workouts, and LaFleur is bringing a different energy and attitude to the team's practice, at least to start.

Rob Demovsky believes that the Drew Lock visit and speculation is, as Brian Gutekunst suggested earlier this week, "subterfuge." Don't expect a QB in rounds one or two for the Packers.
