There are several All-Star Games across college football that feature players who have exhausted their eligibility, but the biggest and most notable of these each year is the Senior Bowl. Each year, over a hundred of college football’s finest prospects gather in Mobile, Alabama for a week of practices, weigh-ins, and interviews — and eventually a football game — as they try to make a good impression on coaches and scouts across the NFL.
This year’s game has no shortage of star power, particularly at the quarterback position. Names like Justin Herbert, Jalen Hurts, and Jordan Love are rightfully drawing plenty of attention. Meanwhile, the game is often a showcase for talent at lower divisions of college football who are getting their first taste of top-level competition. One of this year’s examples of that trend is offensive lineman Ben Bartch from Division III Saint John’s University in Minnesota, who has turned in a nice week of practices.
As for the game itself, tune in this afternoon for the contest and discuss with your fellow Packers fans as we see who might be a member of the green and gold in the future.
