Barring something unexpected between now and 8:00 PM Eastern tonight, the Green Bay Packers will enter the 2020 NFL Draft with ten picks at their disposal. The Packers are unlikely to use all ten of those picks in their current locations, of course, as general manager Brian Gutekunst has been an aggressive trader of picks in his first two drafts and has said that he plans to go to where the value in the draft is at its best.
Here’s a look at the ammunition that Gutey has at his disposal to get to those high-value areas. The Packers received the 30th pick in each round of the draft this year, thanks to their finish to the season. Those picks go to the team with the better record in the previous regular season among the two franchises that lost in the Conference Championship games.

However, the Packers do not have their own seventh-round draft pick, which they flipped in a trade. At cut-down day at the end of the 2019 training camp, Green Bay acquired the right to swap seventh-rounders with the Cleveland Browns by trading offensive lineman Justin McCray to Cleveland — a right that they exercised to swap pick 244 for 236.
The other three additional picks come in rounds six and seven, and all are the result of player swaps. The Packers added sixth-rounders in 2019 in exchange for wide receiver Trevor Davis, who went to the Las Vegas (then Oakland) Raiders, and edge rusher Reggie Gilbert, whom the team traded to the Tennessee Titans. The team’s final pick as it currently stands comes towards the end of round seven, coming over from the Baltimore Ravens in a 2018 trade for running back Ty Montgomery.
As the draft goes on, APC will update this space with the full list of Packers’ picks and trades from all three days.
