NFL Draft 2020, day 3 tracker: live updates, picks, trades, & discussion

After going all offense on days one and two — and at unexpected positions — the Packers will likely look to bolster other needs on the draft’s final day.

Suffice it to say that Green Bay Packers fans, by and large, have been less than pleased with their team’s selections so far in the 2020 NFL Draft.

Brian Gutekunst has drafted three offensive players through the first two days of this year’s selection meeting, and none of those three plays wide receiver or offensive line. Instead, the team has invested in a quarterback — trading up in round one for Utah State’s Jordan Love — a running back, and an H-back. Meanwhile, the defense remains a concern, with needs at all three levels needing some attention.

Some values remain heading into day three, but the Packers will not be able to pounce on them early. They traded away their fourth-round draft pick in the move up for Love, leaving them off the clock until late in round five. Still, Brian Gutekunst does have six picks today — three in the sixth round and two in the seventh — that he could use to move up the board if a desirable player falls.

Keep it here for updates from day three throughout the afternoon and for undrafted free agency news into the evening, and join us in the comments for more discussion of the team’s next selections.
