The Green Bay Packers and San Francisco 49ers have announced their scratches for today's game. As we learned earlier this week, cornerback Casey Hayward is out this week. Unfortunately, a fellow starting defensive back is also out today, as safety Morgan Burnett has been deactivated as well. That will mean that Jerron McMillian and M.D. Jennings will both start, with Micah Hyde likely playing as the nickel back. Inside linebacker Brad Jones is active. The rest of the inactive players were culled from the ranks of reserves, as you can see below.
These players are inactive for Green Bay today:
CB Casey Hayward
S Morgan Burnett
OLB Nate Palmer
ILB Sam Barrington
G Lane Taylor
TE Brandon Bostick
DE Josh Boyd
For the 49ers, the following seven players are scratched:
QB B.J. Daniels
WR Chris Harper
RB LaMichael James
FB Will Tukuafu
LB Nate Stupar
G Joe Looney
WR Jon Baldwin
Burnett's absence may be most painful in defending the 49ers' tight ends Vernon Davis and Vance McDonald.
