Billy Turner will not be active for the Packers’ Week 1 game against the Minnesota Vikings, leaving the Packers shorthanded on the right side of their offensive line.
Turner had been listed as the Packers starting right tackle, though head coach Matt LaFleur has consistently described the position as being in flux. The Packers will have to decide between slotting Rick Wagner in at tackle or shuffling the entire line, potentially moving Elgton Jenkins or Lane Taylor to tackle.
Raven Greene is also inactive, depriving the Packers of help at both linebacker and safety.
Elsewhere on the list, 2020 first-round pick Jordan Love is inactive; he’ll have to wait for his first Sunday in an NFL uniform. Montravius Adams, who’s been nursing a toe injury, has also been scratched for this week, as has Equanimeous St. Brown, who won’t be making his return to the field for the Packers for at least another week. The Packers will carry just four active receivers into this Sunday’s game.
Here’s the full list of Packers inactives for Sunday.
- DL Montravius Adams
- S Raven Greene
- QB Jordan Love
- CB Parry Nickerson
- LB Randy Ramsey
- WR Equanimeous St. Brown
- G/T Billy Turner
On the other side of the ball, the Vikings’ will also be without one of their top draft picks this week. Lineman Ezra Cleveland is inactive for Sunday, giving the Vikings some added uncertainty on an already uncertain offensive front.
Here’s the full list of Vikings inactives:
- WR Chad Beebe
