Packers-Lions Week 3 Inactives: Bryan Bulaga Starts, Jayrone Elliott Active

The Packers get their full starting offensive line back for week three, while a promising rookie will see his first game action.

Benny Sieu-USA TODAY Sports

The Packers and Lions announced their inactive players this morning for their week three matchup this afternoon in Detroit.

Packers fans should be pleased - Bryan Bulaga is back, and expected to be in the starting lineup at right tackle. After being listed as questionable on Friday's injury report, the big tackle from Iowa is ready to go, moving Derek Sherrod back into a reserve role. Also questionable was cornerback Casey Hayward, but he will play today as well.

One promising rookie who will get his first shot on the active roster is outside linebacker Jayrone Elliott. With Andy Mulumba placed on injured reserve this week, Elliott will likely take his place on special teams and might get a snap or two on defense as well.

Here are the Packers' inactives:

ILB Carl Bradford
CB Demetri Goodson
WR Jeff Janis
ILB Brad Jones
NT Mike Pennel
QB Scott Tolzien

For the Lions, they'll be missing their starting strong safety in James Ihedigbo, as well as right tackle LaAdrian Waddle, who was listed as out on Friday. Slot corner Cassius Vaughn is also out. Here is the full list of Lions inactives:

WR Ryan Broyles
S James Ihedigbo
LB Travis Lewis
QB Kellen Moore
FB Montell Owens
CB Cassius Vaughn
T LaAdrian Waddle
