It's finally here. The 2014 NFL season is finally upon us, and our Packers get the honor of opening up the season against the defending Super Bowl champions on Thursday night.
After an impressive preseason performance out of the starting unit, the offense will be put to the ultimate test early on against a Seattle defense that is by most accounts the league's best. Look for the Packers to spread out that defense with 3- and 4-wide receiver looks while still trying to establish the run with Eddie Lacy and company inside.
On defense, the Packers have shown little intriguing wrinkles in August, instead preferring to save their big plans for Julius Peppers and company for the regular season and the Seattle offense.
Without further ado, here is the game primer for the Packers' week one game.
