Despite being announced after the 3:00 PM deadline, the Green Bay Packers have of course cut their roster down to 75 active players today, after beginning the day at 84. It was a combined effort, with players being placed on Injured Reserve, the Physically Unable to Perform list, and waived outright. The full list of players is available at Packers.com, and we break down the moves below:
Injured Reserve
T Bryan Bulaga
WR Kevin Dorsey
RB DuJuan Harris
OLB Jarvis Reed
Reserve/Physically Unable to Perform
S Sean Richardson
T Derek Sherrod
OL JC Tretter
DE Jerel Worthy
Released
K Zach Ramirez
There isn't really a big surprise among the moves on the PUP list or the release of Ramirez, who kicked himself straight out of Green Bay with one bad practice today. We knew about Harris earlier today and it was assumed that Bulaga would go on IR eventually, but the minor surprises are the placement of Dorsey and Reed on injured reserve. Those four players will be out for the 2013 season, and will not be eligible to return this year.
Keep it here on APC through the weekend as we cover the Packers' final preseason game on Thursday and the final cut-down to 53 players on Saturday.
