Packers Practice Updates, 8/11: Live blog and news from training camp practice

The Packers hit the field at 11:45 AM today. We've got you covered with our daily update thread.

Benny Sieu-USA TODAY Sports

On Tuesday, the Green Bay Packers will take the field for the second time this week, with just one more practice yet to go on Wednesday before a trip to Foxboro and a preseason game with the New England Patriots on Thursday evening. Wednesday's practice is closed to the public and media, however, so today's session will be the last chance for fans to get a look at the squad before the preseason opener.

On Monday, several linebackers returned to practice, including Clay Matthews and Mike Neal. However, two starting defensive linemen missed practice, as Mike Daniels and Letroy Guion both sat out. The depth on the defensive line is suddenly a question mark, and we'll be hoping for good news on those two starters.

On offense, the entire unit seems unscathed at this point (knocks on wood), save for a few receivers on the lower rungs of the depth chart. We'll eagerly await the chance to see what the second and third string units can do on Thursday, but until then we'll have to settle for Ty Montgomery's daily big play (even if it comes after being hit "in the gonads", as he described it yesterday).

As always, follow along with practice below and discuss in the comments!
