This afternoon, the Green Bay Packers take the field for their first practice since the team's preseason opener, a 22-11 win over the New England Patriots on Thursday night. The Packers are scheduled to take the field at 12:45 PM today at Ray Nitschke Field.
The Packers' backup quarterbacks, specifically Scott Tolzien and Brett Hundley, were impressive against the Patriots' reserves, as each of them had a passer rating over 100 in the game. On the other side of the ball, rookie cornerback Quinten Rollins had a great game, with three pass breakups and several tackles as well.
Numerous Packers did not travel with the team this week, and their availability will be one of the key factors to watch in today's practice. Projected starters Clay Matthews, Mike Daniels, and Letroy Guion all stayed in Green Bay, while several other reserves (including first-round draft pick Damarious Randall) did as well.
Keep an eye on the injury report in practice, and as always, follow along below and discuss in the comments!
