The Green Bay Packers are back on the field on Wednesday for their second practice of the week. The team is scheduled to hit Ray Nitschke Field at 12:15 PM local time.
However, with some rain in the forecast for this afternoon, there is a chance that the team may elect to move practice inside the Don Hutson Center. If that happens, practice would unfortunately be closed off to fans, but the media will still be allowed inside to keep tabs on practice and tweet out updates.
In either case, our practice tracker is here to capture all of those updates, as the team begins to prepare for Sunday's preseason game in Pittsburgh against the Steelers. As usual, we'll be crossing our fingers that Mike Daniels and Letroy Guion can return to practice. Yesterday's session saw rookie cornerback Damarious Randall back on the field after missing all of last week with a groin injury.
Clay Matthews was also practicing again on Tuesday, as he had all week despite not flying to New England with the team for last week's game. Unfortunately, he was ruled out of today's practice by Mike McCarthy this morning:
McCarthy said Clay Matthews has elbow injury that will prevent him from practicing today. Add that to the knee issue he had earlier in camp.
