Good news, everyone! While everyone's favorite quarterback is inactive for the Green Bay Packers' game on Thanksgiving Day against the Detroit Lions, it looks like they will have a full squad of starters on the active roster today.
The full list of inactives is here:
PACKERS: TE Brandon Bostick, WR Chris harper, ILB Jamari Lattimore, OLB Nate Palmer, QB Aaron Rodgers, DE C.J. Wilson, DE Jerel Worthy
LIONS: G Rodney Austin, G Leroy Harris, T Corey Hilliard, CB Chris Houston, RB Mikel Leshoure, QB Kellen Moore, WR Michael Spurlock
What does this mean for today? It means that Sam Shields, Don Barclay, Johnny Jolly, and Nick Perry are all playing for the Packers today, and likely it means that all of them will start at their respective positions. That's a much-needed boost for both the defense and the offensive line today.
For the Lions, it means that yet again they face the Packers without a starting member of their secondary. Also, Spurlock's status as inactive means that former Packer Jeremy Ross will be returning kicks for Detroit.
Get those stretchy pants ready, because it's almost time for football and feasting!
