Hannah Foslien

The Green Bay Packers hold a 24-17 lead at halftime of their Week 8 game against the Minnesota Vikings. Minnesota got the scoring started on the first play with a 109-yard kickoff return by Cordarrelle Patterson, but the Packers fought back and ran off several long scoring drives in the first half.

Jordy Nelson is the star on offense so far, with three catches for 93 yards and two touchdowns. Aaron Rodgers had an excellent first half as well, completing 13 of his 16 passes for 169 yards and those two scores.

Micah Hyde provided a big highlight as well, taking back a punt 93 yards for a touchdown.

On the other side, Adrian Peterson has proven difficult to contain, as usual. He has ten carries for 46 yards, but did score a touchdown late in the first half to bring the Vikings back within one touchdown. He also caught three passes for 23 yards.
