Davante Adams caught a season-high seven passes in Green Bay's 26-21 win over the Cowboys.

Davante Adams caught more passes and gained more yards Sunday than all of his games in the month of December combined.

After an impressive start to season, Adams struggled down the stretch with quarterback Aaron Rodgers. Adams couldn't keep his hands on a game-clinching score against the New England Patriots in Week 13, contributed to Green Bay's seven drops two weeks later in Buffalo, and dropped two more in Tampa Bay against the Buccaneers.

Since the start of training camp, the 6-foot-1 wide-out from Fresno State battled his way up the Green Bay Packers' depth-chart, fell down, and has now gotten right back up.

"We had a few issues with that weeks before, and all the dropped talks," Adams said after the game, "so I had to shut all that up real quick and then have a positive performance for the team all around. That's what we need going forward."

On the biggest stage of his first season, Adams delivered for the Packers by hauling in seven catches for 117 yards and a score on 11 targets.

For his first postseason touchdown, Rodgers found Adams across the middle of the field before shaking Cowboys defensive back Sterling Moore to break lose down the sidelines.

"The middle of the field was pretty open ... I just tried to lower him to sleep and get outside and head for the pylon.

"He actually checked out (Rodgers) the first play and saw the middle of the field. Just had to wide my guy and get in there quick, and Aaron put it right on me."

Rodgers finished the game completing 24-of-35 passes for 316 yards with a 125.4 passer rating and three touchdowns. Green Bay finished the season 9-0 at home, and Rodgers has now completed 512 consecutive passes with 41 touchdowns inside Lambeau Field without an interception. The signal-caller hobbled through yet another game while dealing with a calf injury.

"That's Aaron for you. Didn't surprise me because he's a competitor." Adams said of his quarterback. "I don't care if that thing's broken, he's going to give it all he has and he's going to go out there and make strikes. That's the type of thing he does day in and day out. That's just Aaron being Aaron."

The Packers will travel to Seattle to face the Seahawks next week for the NFC Championship after grinding past Dallas 26-21. Adams knows everything is right in front of them.

"We already know we have all the tools to take the whole thing, so it's just a matter of applying it and stepping up when the opportunity comes because it's not always going to be there for each player.

"It feels great. It's my first year in the NFL and I get to be apart of something like this. That just goes to show that we're apart of a world-class organization. I couldn't be more blessed to be in the position I'm in."

Packers head coach Mike McCarthy discusses his team's win in the Divisional Round over the Dallas Cowboys.

Green Bay Packers head coach Mike McCarthy talked about his team's thrilling 26-21 win over the Dallas Cowboys after the game concluded. McCarthy touched on his quarterback's strong performance, his special teams unit and the leaping catch by Cowboys receiver Dez Bryant that was overturned

Here's a wrap-up of what he had to say:

Opening statement:

The game had everything I'm sure you wanted to see in a football game. The Dallas Cowboys are an outstanding team, well coached. Jason Garrett and his staff and players knew it was going to be a big challenge here today and that's exactly what it was. Defensively, I thought our guys played well. We started the game just the way we wanted, as far as running the ball.

Aaron (Rodgers) just did an incredible job in the spread, wide-open type offense that we went to. Great job there.

I thought our special teams covered well. We thought we had some return opportunities, we had two that put us in good field position.

Great playoff victory.

Did you see the Dez Bryant catch? Or did someone call it to your attention?

Well, it was fourth and two. We went empty pressure against them and Tony (Romo) checked it and went to the one-on-one matchup between Dez (Bryant) and Sam Shields over there on their boundary. Excellent throw, and really, a phenomenal catch to get himself in position to make that catch. But by rule, and you could see it on the Jumbotron, it gave you a good picture and I had plenty of time to look at it. I think I saw it three times before I threw the challenge flag. I just felt that when Dez caught the ball, and when the ball hit the ground ... he didn't complete the catch. I thought they made the right call.

That was such an impactful play, you have to challenge that.

Why do you think Aaron played much better down the stretch of the game?

Probably because I called better plays for him or something. If you look at the game, it was two different halves. Only had three series in the first half, heavy run, play-action pass. I just felt that once we opened things he was able to get into some rhythms and some throws and move around. He played like Aaron Rodgers, an incredible game, especially with what he's been through the last two weeks.

What did you think of his pin-point accuracy down the stretch of the game?

I thought he played huge today. Everybody wants to compare performances ... that's as good as it gets. In this stadium, with the condition of his calf, it's spectacular.

On getting contributions from Andrew Quarless and Davante Adams:

I tell you what, Andrew played big today. When he got his opportunities he made the most of 'em. Davante (Adams) was given some opportunities with his matchup, and he played big. To me, his touchdown was one of the biggest plays in the game. We needed that. We were kind of transitioning and I think that play really got us going.

On traveling to Seattle to face the Seahawks:

Looking forward on going back up to Seattle. Looking forward to winning the NFC championship.

Davante Adams caught seven passes for 117 yards and a score in the Packers' win Sunday.

In a game that came down to a final call, the Green Bay Packers defeated the Dallas Cowboys 26-21 to move onto the NFC Championship game in Seattle. A hobbled Aaron Rodgers passed for 316 yards and three touchdowns with a 125.4 passer rating, while Eddie Lacy ran for 101 yards on the ground.

In case you missed Sunday's action, here's our game recap:

First half

Green Bay capitalized on Dallas' three-and-out on the opening drive, as the Packers took an early 7-0 lead. Rodgers attempted just three passes on the Packers' opening drive that featured a lot of pistol formation and no-huddle offense. Running back Eddie Lacy saw a heavy workload on the first drive that resulted in a four-yard touchdown from Rodgers to Andrew Quarless. Lacy carried the ball seven times and gained 45 yards on the ground, including a 19-yard run after Rodgers' first pass attempt.

Two tough calls on the Packers kept Dallas' second drive alive that ended in a one-yard touchdown from Tony Romo to Tyler Clutts. A brutal hold from linebacker Brad Jones on third down kept the Cowboys' second drive going, while a pass interference from Tramon Williams on Terrence Williams near the goal line gave the Cowboys a fresh set of downs a play before the score. The Cowboys capped a 12-play, 62-yard drive with the first quarter winding down.

Dallas stalled Green Bay's second drive after Jeremy Mincey forced a fumble while sacking Rodgers. Rookie center Corey Linsley snapped the ball too early at the line, and after escaping to his right, Mincey drilled Rodgers to the ground. The Packers were in manageable field goar range at the time. A Terrence Williams 38-yard touchdown after breaking a tackle from Williams gave the Cowboys a 14-7 lead.

Late in the first half, a kick from Dan Bailey sailed right and prevented the Cowboys from scoring 17 straight points before the end of the half. Luckily, the Packers capitalized right after on their next drive, going 38 in just five plays. The drive mostly progressed after Randall Cobb made a wonderful grab inbounds for 31 yards near the sideline, bringing the Packers to the 27. A Mason Crosby kick from 40 yards out made the score 14-10 heading into halftime.

Second half

Despite not scoring on the first drive of the half, the Packers swung momentum back in their favor early in the second half. For the sixth time this season, Murray fumbled the football, and for the sixth time this season, Julius Peppers forced one. The Cowboys were driving on their first offensive drive, but a forced fumble by Peppers gave the Packers the ball from Dallas' 44.

On the ensuing drive, Lacy took his second hand-off of the drive 29 yards down field to put the Packers on the Dallas 16. A play after Lacy's big run, right guard T.J. Lang was involved in a scuffle near the right side of the field, which gave the Packers a 15-yard penalty after the referees called him for unnecessary roughness. That moved Green Bay to the 22 yard line after it was enforced from the seven. Crosby eventually settled for another field to make the score 14-13.

The Cowboys responded right away with a six-play, 80-yard drive that took just 3:34 and ended in a Murray score from one-yard out.

Davante Adams caught just four passes for 21 yards in the month of December, but put on a solid performance in today's game. After catching a pass across the middle from Rodgers, Adams put a nice shake on Sterling Moore and broke free toward the right sideline for 46 yards and a score:

The touchdown was the longest of Rodgers' postseason career, and cut the Cowboys lead to just one point at the end of the third. Soon after, the Packers put together maybe their best offensive series of the entire season. A hobbled Rodgers led the Packers 80 yards in eight plays while going 7-of-7 on the drive, including the go-ahead touchdown in the fourth quarter. While rolling out to his left, Rodgers threw an absolute rocket to rookie tight end Richard Rodgers to give Green Bay their first lead since the second quarter:

The 13-yard touchdown put the Packers up 26-21, as the Packers weren't able to convert a two-point conversion on the next play.

Needing a score to take back their lead, the Cowboys made it down to Green Bay's 32 yard line. Dallas elected to go for it on fourth and two. Romo dropped back and delivered a strike to Dez Bryant down the sideline who made a tremendous grab over Sam Shields while falling to the ground:

It was at first ruled a catch before Mike McCarthy challenged the call. In one of the more stranger rulings this season, the referees overturned the call after they ruled Bryant didn't complete the process.

There are 15 minutes left to decide which team will travel to Seattle next week.

The Packers and Cowboys remain locked in a tight struggle in this game as the two teams fight to earn a trip to Seattle in seven days. Gradually, Aaron Rodgers' confidence has begun to grow over the course of the third quarter.

Rodgers zipped a pass to Davante Adams late in the third quarter, and Adams left J.J. Wilcox's jock strap at the 20-yard line with a great juke and found his way into the end zone for a 46-yard touchdown to pull the Packers back within one point at 21-20.

The Packers trail the Cowboys by a score of 14-10 after 30 minutes. Join us for the third quarter.

After 30 minutes in Green Bay, the Cowboys hold a 14-10 lead over the Green Bay Packers.

The Cowboys got a 38-yard touchdown from Tony Romo to Terrence Williams early on in the second quarter, as he shook off a tackle attempt from Tramon Williams and outraced Micah Hyde and company into the end zone to give the Cowboys a 14-7 lead. However, the Packers got a big swing late in the half, as they held the Cowboys scoreless after Datone Jones got a finger on a Dan Bailey field goal attempt.

Aaron Rodgers then led the Packers down the field with just seconds left, and put Mason Crosby in position to hit a 40-yard field goal to cut the lead to 14-10 on the last play of the half.

Join us for the third quarter of the game as we keep cheering the Packers on to victory.

The Packers trail the Cowboys 14-10 at halftime inside Lambeau Field.

After Green Bay jumped out to a quick 7-0 start, the Dallas Cowboys scored 14 unanswered to take a 14-7 lead over the Green Bay Packers inside Lambeau Field. A Dan Bailey miss from 50 yards out helped prevent Dallas from scoring on a third straight possession, and the Packers responded right after with a field goal of their own 40 yards out from Mason Crosby. Dallas still leads 14-10, but Green Bay gets the ball to start the second half, and will have a chance to take back the lead.

Here's a recap of the good, bad and the ugly so far:

Good

We knew coming into this game that the Packers would do their best to limit Aaron Rodgers' mobility, and the did so on their first drive, establishing the run game. Eddie Lacy gained 45 yards on just seven carries on the first drive (including a 19-yard gain). The Packers have totaled just 64 yards on the ground in the first half, but they've ran the ball effectively when needed.

Bad

The Cowboys' second drive was kept alive after brutal penalties from linebacker Brad Jones (holding on third down), and Tramon Williams (pass interference near the red zone). Those two calls led to Dallas scoring a touchdown from one-yard out after the Williams penalty. Williams also missed a key tackle on Dallas' third drive after Terrence Williams sprung free for a 38-yard touchdown.

Ugly

It's been pretty clear that Rodgers' mobility is hurting the Packers a bit right now. Besides the touchdown throw to Andrew Quarless, we haven't seen much at all from him moving and throwing in the pocket. There were certainly throws in the first half that would've been completed had Rodgers moved outside the line of scrimmage. The injury is still something to monitor going forward.
